Star Names and Constellations - the exoplanetarium of the Working Group Star Names (WGSN) of the IAU

In November 2023, the IAU Working Group Star Names and the Stellarium Developer Team met in the city of Jena. We were honoured to give a public talk in the world’s oldest still working planetarium, but the main focus of our meeting was the discussion of data from the many disciplins that concern us.

It was just by chance but this meeting that was shifted several times now took place 1.5 weeks after the start of the centennial celebrations of the Zeiss projection planetarium.
